Gay Condom or thicker condoms were sold as Extra Strong, Extra Safe, Ultra Strong or Ultra Resistant. Most gay condom has an added lubricant to it for a smoother ride at the back door and is comfortable to use. However, thick condoms are not only meant for gay, they can be used for both anal and vaginal intercourse. It is double the times of durability compared to a common regular condom and will not break easily. Gays were advised to use thicker condoms for anal sex because they would provide more protection. This is important when having anal sex as it is much easier to pass on STDs through anal sex.
